This page explains what data Ciemasen collects when you visit ciemasen.com, why we collect it, and how to control it. We keep this deliberately short because there is not much to say.
Who we are
Ciemasen is an architecture-led software engineering studio. If you need to reach the person responsible for data on this site, email hello@ciemasen.com.
What we collect
- Analytics — if you accept cookies in the consent banner, we load Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics. Analytics records pages you visit, approximate location (country level), device type, and how you arrived on the site. We do not enable advertising features, do not enable Google Signals, and do not share this data with third parties beyond Google.
- Contact form submissions — when you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email, project description, and the stage and timeline you selected. We use this only to reply to you.
- Server logs — our hosting provider records standard web-server logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, URL requested). These are used to keep the site running and to enforce the contact-form rate limit.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, or cross-site identifiers. We do not sell data. We do not have user accounts.
How long we keep it
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default (14 months).
- Contact form submissions: retained until the conversation concludes, then deleted.
- Server logs: rotated by the hosting provider, typically within 30 days.
Your choices
- Withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing the
ciemasen.consent.v1entry in your browser's local storage and reloading the page. The consent banner will reappear. - Request deletion of any contact form submission by emailing us.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, surface a notice on the site.
